Being successful doesn’t just happen. Behind every successful person is a constant pursuit of their goals, even when no one is looking.
Remember when you made that New Years Resolution?
How many of those are you still committed to? Discipline is the very thing that keeps you doing the things you have committed to and ensures that you are reaching your goals on a consistent basis. How do you keep discipline in your life to ensure you are achieving your goals? What characteristics do you like to hang your hat on?
Each week, reach out to at least 2-3 people that you think you can learn something from. Sometimes these seeds take months or years to grow and be ready to harvest. Always be planting your seeds whether it is through networking, further education, learning a new aspect of your profession, blogging or volunteering.
It is a huge mistake to think that what matters is your behaviors in front of people. Hidden behaviors are the small things that have a gigantic impact on the quality of work you do, the success you achieve and the way you are viewed by your peers, family, co-workers and managers. Take pride in your work.
